Elaina received her Bachelor’s degree from UNC Charlotte before receiving her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Lenoir-Rhyne University. Her dream has always been to pursue a career in pediatrics. In her free time, Elaina enjoys lake days with her family and friends, baking cookies, and making Italian food.

Maria T.

Maria is an OT here at PAT! She graduated from undergrad at UNC Chapel Hill (Go Heels!) and went to grad school at Lenoir Rhyne University. Maria calls Hickory, NC her home with her sweet pitbull named Ghost. She enjoys going kayaking and biking with her fiancé or chilling at home in my free time. Kayla loves her job and is so blessed to work with my little friends and their families!

Brittany W.

Brittany is an occupational therapist here at PAT! She is originally from a small town in Michigan and did her undergrad and graduate OT program at Saginaw Valley State University in Saginaw, MI. She moved down to North Carolina with her husband after graduation, and loves everything about it so far! Outside of work, you can find her hiking, going to the beach, finding cute coffee shops, and spending time with her friends and family. Brittany’s dream job has always been working in pediatrics and loves working with kids! She has completed training in NDT Handling for infants/toddlers, and SOS feeding practices. Brittany has experience through PAT and previous fieldwork placements working with kids of all ages and abilities, and she can’t wait to hang out with your kiddos!

Kaitlyn M.

Kaitlyn graduated from Lenoir-Rhyne University with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy.  She has had a strong passion for pediatrics for as long as she can remember!  It has always been her dream to work with children and she loves the meaning behind making play purposeful.  In her free time, Kaitlyn loves taking walks with her husband and our pup (Koda), mountain biking, and playing card games!

Anna Kate N.

Anna Kate is from Sioux Falls, South Dakota and moved to Huntersville shortly before starting at PAT. She attended Arizona State University and the University of Cincinnati where she earned her undergraduate degree in Business Administration. She received her Masters of Occupational Therapy at Lewis University, graduating in 2021. In addition to practicing occupational therapy, Anna Kate is a Registered Yoga Teacher and dance instructor. She loves to incorporate mindfulness and movement breaks into her sessions. Anna Kate is excited to be a part of the PAT team and eager to help kids and their families live with more ease and fulfillment.

Whitley M.

Whitley graduated from NC State University (Go Pack!) before receiving her Master’s in Occupational Therapy from East Carolina University. During college, she developed a passion for working with kids and has never looked back. She has experience working in outpatient pediatrics and is excited to join the PAT team in Winston Salem. When she’s not at the clinic, you can find her baking, reading, hiking, or going to concerts.

Kayla has always wanted to be a pediatric OT for as long as she can remember! She loves working alongside families to help kids of all ages learn new skills through play. Kayla moved here from Ohio after finishing graduate school, where she completed her doctoral capstone in adapted sports. In her free time she loves to do anything outside and be with her family and friends!

Leigh H.

Leigh is from Bridgeport, West Virginia and a graduate of West Virginia University’s Occupational Therapy program. In the fall of 2020 she completed her level II fieldwork rotation at PAT where she confirmed her passion for working with the pediatric population. Leigh loves pediatric OT because it helps children and their families become more functional, independent, and successful with their meaningful occupations. Additionally, this profession allows her to be creative, learn new skills, and have fun! When Leigh is not in the clinic, you can find her enjoying the outdoors, having a movie marathon, or indulging in sweets!
