Jacob S.
Jacob has experience helping clients work through and resolve trauma experiences. He’s worked with people across the lifespan and believes teaching clients how trauma is stored in the brain and body. He uses a variety of treatment modalities to reduce distress and help clients heal. Jacob also works with those having difficulty managing symptoms of ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and behavioral problems. He is skilled at helping families find their strengths to help assist in creating connection and structure, helping educate about human development, emotion regulation strategies, and conflict resolution. Outside of Counseling, Jacob likes to spend time with friends, play sports, and is actively involved in church and the middle and high school ministry. When he was a teenager, he received counseling and it changed his life. After that, he received a calling on his life to do the same for others. He loves meeting new people and can’t wait to meet you!
