Mekayla attended Western Caroline University for her undergraduate degree, and East Tennessee State University for her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology! She is from the small town of Polkton, NC, but recently moved to Midland, NC with her fiancé.

During her graduate school experience, Mekayla was able to work with lots of kiddos with AAC devices, and is so excited to learn more about making AAC devices functional for kids and families while she’s at PAT!
