Christina Sabra (she/her), LCSW, has 10 years of experience working in the areas of child welfare, trauma, and youth mental health. Christina holds LCSWs in both New York and North Carolina. Christina received her Master of Social Work degree from New York University’s School of Social Work, and her Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Psychology from the University of Vermont. Christina specializes in treating anxiety, depression, life transitions, ADHD, behavioral issues, impulse control disorders, family conflict, relationship and attachment issues, grief and loss, trauma and PTSD, women’s issues, and LGBTQIA-related issues. Christina’s goals are safety and guided self-discovery while supporting and empowering clients to tolerate and navigate discomfort and challenges on their life journey. Christina uses evidence-based and process-oriented approaches to assist individuals and families in exploring and processing experiences, and to help clients grow and to find relief. Some interventions include CBT, mindfulness, Internal Family Systems, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, play therapy, attachment theory and therapeutic horticulture.
