Maranda K.

Hi there, everyone! My name is Maranda Koehn and here’s a little bit about myself: I have lived in Florida for just over 8 years, having moved from Northeastern Pennsylvania in the beginning of 2017. I graduated from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania in 2016 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and received my Master’s Degree in Exceptional Student Education with a focus in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2021 from the University of West Florida. During my undergraduate experience is where I fell in love with the field of behavioral health, beginning my experience as a residential program worker in a group home setting and servicing adults. Over the last decade, I have worked on building my skills in the application of behavior analysis, holding various certifications such as Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA), and currently hold credentialing as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and being a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) here in North Carolina. My clinical area of expertise and passions include co-morbid diagnoses and severe behaviors. Outside of my clinical work, my hobbies include spending time with my loved ones and fur-babies, trying new foods and restaurants, reading a good book, remaining active, kayaking, hitting the beach, and really anything outdoors and adventurous!

Lori E.

Hi! I am Lori and I am from Punxsutawney Pennsylvania – home of the famous Punxsutawney Phil who predicts if there will be an early spring or 6 more weeks of winter on Groundhogs Day on February 2nd.  I am a mom of 2 adult children – a daughter that is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and is currently working as a paramedic in a suburb of Pittsburgh and is contemplating either pursuing PA or CRNP in the near future and a son that is currently in his 4th year of a 5 year masters of engineering program at Penn State.  I have been married for 27 years and absolutely love my tiny slice of heaven in the middle of nowhere with the fenced in backyard where my two dogs can run wild and play.  I have been working in behavioral health for almost 18 years. I started off working in a bachelors level position then getting my masters degree and then finally moving onto taking the classes for my BCBA and then taking the big exam in August and passing. Although I am a recently certified BCBA I do have an extensive background in working with children with autism. In my 18 years of experience in behavioral health I worked for 3 companies that served that population in homes, schools and community.  I also worked in a specialized school as well as worked in a school district in the life skills/autism support classroom.  Some of my favorite things to do is spend time with my family, go on trips with my husband and find cool places to hike with my husband.  We love finding hidden treasures while we are out hiking.
