I grew up in Roanoke Rapids, NC and moved to Asheville in 2023. I graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelors in Sociology in 2019, and later a master’s in social work in 2022. I have been learning to incorporate play in therapy such as video games and Dungeons and Dragons. I have experience treating ADHD, trauma, anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, autism, and provide parenting education. I utilize many modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Person Centered Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Family therapy approaches, and play therapy. I am looking forward to getting married to my partner of 7 years very soon! In my free time, I enjoy playing video games, wood working, Dungeons and Dragons, and tinkering.
