Kyra Fogg was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. She recently moved to Charlotte, NC after graduating with a Master’s in Social Work and a Certificate in Trauma-Informed Care from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. She also received a Bachelor of Arts in Child Psychology from Kent State University. Kyra has always felt called to work with children and their families ever since she was 12 years old working as a babysitter. Kyra’s professional experience working with children and their families began when she was working as a summer camp and after-school lead counselor with the YMCA from 2017 to 2023.

While earning her master’s degree, Kyra worked as an in-home foster care therapist and an outpatient pediatric therapist. At the center of her work, Kyra prioritizes a person-centered approach. She believes that fostering a strong foundation of trust and safety is an essential piece in collaborating with clients and their families throughout their healing journey.

Outside of the counseling space, Kyra enjoys spending time and connecting with her loved ones. She also loves exploring new places in Charlotte and exercising through Pilates, yoga, and taking walks. Her current favorite Disney movies are Elemental and Soul.
