Dorian R.
Dorian earned her master’s degree (M.S.) in Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of Memphis and her undergraduate degree (B.S.) in Special Education from Middle Tennessee State University. She has over 16 years of experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in the states of North Carolina, Texas, and Tennessee. Throughout her career, Dorian has worked with pediatric, adolescent, and adult ages across multiple settings, including centers, schools, communities, in-home, residential facilities, hospitals, and group homes.
Dorian has a passion for working with individuals of multiple abilities to help them discover their own passions and potential. She fosters a team model and understands the importance of teaching technicians, working with families, and collaborating with other disciplines. Some of Dorian’s interests in the field include aggressive and self-injurious behaviors, social and play skills, sleep issues with autism, food-seeking and food-aversion behaviors, and functional communication.
Fun facts about Dorian: she is a dog mom to two amazing rescues, loves to play the piano, enjoys spending her free time outdoors, and desires to obtain her PhD in Applied Behavior Analysis with a concentration in research.
