BCBA, Mooresville
Hi, my name is Amanda Smith! I am a wife, dog mom, and BCBA currently living in Foley, AL. I went to Henderson State University and received a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education. From there, I went to Arkansas State University and obtained a Master’s in Special Education. I was an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher for 5 years. During this time, I found a big love for ABA and decided to leave teaching and pursue ABA full time. I went back to school and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2020. My passions in this field are functional communication training, daily living skills, and working with underserved populations. I believe in a collaborative approach and love working with other disciplines to ensure the best possible outcomes for all children. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, going to the beach, and reading as many books as I can get my hands on.
